A preview of the american collector "Séverin Wundermann" donation.
About sixty paintings, pastels, prints and ceramics that Jean Cocteau realised between 1950 and 1963 during his "mediterranean period".
Cocteau's Mediterranean is a greek, italian and spanish cultural melting-pot.
This exhibition involves antique mythology, the bullfighting universe, the gypsy culture, the flamenco, the friendship with Pablo Picasso and the invention of the figures inspired by "La Commedia dell'Arte" which will afterward give birth to the Menton "Innamorati".
